Terms and Conditions
Q: Is Bidder Pre-Qualification necessary to participate in this auction?
A: No, it is not.
Q: Is bidding open internationally?
A: Yes. However, if you live outside of the U.S., you may be required to pay additional costs for shipping and handling. (You will be sent an additional PayPal invoice after the Auction ends to reflect the additional shipping costs.)
Q: When do I have to pay for my item?
A: Payment must be made in U.S. funds and received within three (3) business days of the close of the auction.
Q: What are the accepted methods of payment?
A: We accept payment by PayPal or Credit Cards in US funds only. Note that you must sign up for a PayPal account by going to PayPal before you can pay through PayPal. No personal checks will be accepted. However, you can make a payment from your checking account through PayPal.
Q: Will a receipt be provided?
A: Yes, a receipt for the total amount paid will be provided to you once your payment is received.
Q: Who pays sales tax?
A: GFC pays all CA state sales tax on items sold to CA residents as required by law.
Q: Is this purchase tax deductible?
A: If you live in the United States and are the winning bidder, a charitable deduction may be allowable for the amount you pay in excess of the fair market value of the item you won and the shipping costs you paid. If you are the winning bidder for any item, and are paying $75.00 or more for your item, we will send you a letter after the auction with: (1) an estimate of the fair market value, and (2) the total amount that you paid for your item. The fair market value is also included in the auction description for each item.
Grobanites for Charity and The Josh Groban Foundation make no representation regarding the tax consequences relating to your bid, or any item offered for auction, and we do not in any way give any tax or financial advice. We recommend that you seek the advice and counsel of a tax advisor relating to the tax treatment of your donation.
Q: Who pays for shipping and how will it be shipped to me?
A: The buyer will pay for all shipping costs unless otherwise noted in the auction item description. Most signed auction items will be shipped via Federal Express, UPS or Priority Mail. (Other items may be shipped via First Class Mail to minimize costs.) Winning bidders must provide a physical address, phone number, and signature for delivery. We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. Any remaining money from the shipping costs you pay will be donated to The Josh Groban Foundation. If you live outside the US, we may request additional money to cover the shipping costs.
Q: When will I receive my item?
A: Barring unanticipated circumstances, the expected delivery time is six to eight weeks after the end of the auction. Please note that all items are shipped out by volunteers or the donors of the items and your patience is appreciated if your item is late. If you do not recive your item, please contact gfc@grobanitesforcharity.org .
Q: Will my item come with a Certificate of Authenticity?
A: All items which come with a Certificate of Authenticity are noted in the auction item description.
Q: What is The Josh Groban Foundation?
The Josh Groban Foundation supports children in need around the world through contributions to the arts, education and healthcare. The charities are selected by the JGF Board of Directors.
Q: What is Grobanites For Charity?
Grobanites for Charity is a grass-roots fundraising organization made up of avid supporters of Josh Groban. Its primary goal is to raise money for The Josh Groban Foundation, but it also supports other worthwhile charitable causes around the world. Grobanites for Charity is 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. For more information go to: www.grobanitesforcharity.org .

The items are being provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
100% of the proceeds of the purchase price paid by the winning bidder will go to The Josh Groban Foundation unless otherwise noted in the Auction listing.
The winning bidder will receive, in exchange for payment of the full bid price to Grobanites For Charity, the item described herein, under the terms described herein.
All bids are binding. Please do not bid if you cannot afford to pay for your item.
All bid prices are in US dollars.
This auction does not include any items or services that are not detailed above.
The purchaser/high bidder agrees to pay within three (3) business days of the close of the auction.
Your participation in this auction constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
GrobanitesForCharity, the auction manager, is merely performing a management service on behalf of and at direction of the selling parties and as such is not responsible for any errors or omissions or for any warranties or guarantees either explicit or implied herein.
